The following terms and conditions govern all use of the lifeofdiscipline.com website and all content, services, and products available at or through the website and mobile app. Both the website and the mobile app will be jointly referred to as 'The App'. The App is owned and operated by Raymond Moay. The App is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation, The App's Privacy Policy) and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site by Life of Discipline (collectively, the “Agreement”). By accessing or using any part of The App, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access The App or use any services. If these terms and conditions are considered an offer by Life of Discipline, acceptance is expressly limited to these terms. The App is available only to individuals who are at least 4 years old.

Liability

We exist to help keep you accountable to your own goals and to build lasting habits to change your life. By using our service, you will not get to hold us accountable for any injury or harm to yourself or others when trying to accomplish these goals through tracking your habits.

If your profile is set to "Public", anyone is free to share or view your profile. You will not hold us accountable for any reputational or emotional damage due to such sharing of your profile by others.

Your Account and Data

If you create an account on The App, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with your account. You must not describe or assign keywords to your account in a misleading or unlawful manner, including in a manner intended to trade on the name or reputation of others, and Life of Discipline may change or remove any description or keyword that it considers inappropriate or unlawful, or otherwise likely to cause Life of Discipline liability. You must immediately notify Life of Discipline of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. Life of Discipline will not be liable for any acts or omissions by You, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

Your data is stored safely on our servers and will not be sold to any third party. Your data is solely used for providing the service that Life of Discipline was made to do; aid in habit tracking. Occasionally, we will explore the usage data to see which features are highly used and which are not, which may or may not result in a change in product decisions. By using our platform, you consent to our usage of your data as per mentioned above, nothing more.

In the event you would like to delete your data from our Servers, head over to the Settings page and under the 'Danger Zone', you can permanently delete your account and data.

Payments and Subscriptions

Creating an account on Life of Discipline is free. If you opt for the premium features, you are required to subscribe to the service through Stripe if you are using the Site, or through Apple if you are paying through the mobile app. Your credit card details will not be handled by us. Instead, they are stored safely with Stripe and Apple.

If you wish to cancel your subscription, on the Website, head over to your "Account Settings" on your profile, then proceed to click on "Manage Subscriptions". That button will take you to Stripe's customer dashboard where you can cancel your subscription. You can also edit your billing details there. Alternatively, if you made the purchase through our Mobile App, you can manage your subscriptions in your iPhone App Store settings.

Automatic renewal. To ensure uninterrupted service, your subscription is automatically renewed. This means that unless you cancel before the end of the applicable subscription period, it will automatically renew, and you authorize us to use any payment mechanism we have on record for you through Stripe or Apple to collect the then-applicable subscription fee as well as any Taxes.

General Representation and Warranty

You represent and warrant that (i) your use of The App will be in strict accordance with the Life of Discipline's Privacy Policy, with this Agreement and with all applicable laws and regulations (including without limitation any local laws or regulations in your country, state, city, or other governmental area, regarding online conduct and acceptable content, and including all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States or the country in which you reside) and (ii) your use of The App will not infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Marketing emails

By signing up, you agree to accept marketing newsletters from us. Do not worry, as we limit our emailing to 1 email at most per month at most. You can opt out by toggling the email updates settings in the Settings page.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Life of Discipline, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of The App, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement.

Miscellaneous

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Life of Discipline and you concerning the subject matter hereof, and they may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized executive of Life of Discipline, or by the posting by Life of Discipline of a revised version. If any part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be construed to reflect the parties' original intent, and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. A waiver by either party of any term or condition of this Agreement or any breach thereof, in any one instance, will not waive such term or condition or any subsequent breach thereof. You may assign your rights under this Agreement to any party that consents to, and agrees to be bound by, its terms and conditions; Life of Discipline may assign its rights under this Agreement without condition. This Agreement will be binding upon and will inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors and permitted assigns.
